Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky (1892-1968) - Russian writer, author of essays, short stories, novels, novels, his books have been translated into many languages of the world.
"Since my childhood years I wanted to see and experience everything that only a man can see and experience - wrote in his autobiography K. G. Paustovsky. - The poetry of wanderings, merged with unvarnished reality, formed the best alloy for the creation of books". Paustovsky's first story "On the Water" was written while still studying at the Kiev gymnasium and published in 1912. In 1928 the first collection of stories "Meeting Ships" was published. For many years (1945-1963) Paustovsky wrote one of his major works - autobiographical "Tale of Life", consisting of six books. The collection includes the story "Meshchera Side", stories and fairy tales of different years.
