Alexander Kurlyandsky is a writer, satirist and playwright, one of the creators of the popular animated series "Well, Wait!". He invented many favorite characters, including the famous parrot Kesha. In 1984, the first issue of the cartoon "The Return of the Prodigal Parrot" was released. The cartoon was so popular that A. Kurlyandsky wrote fairy tale stories based on it: "Have you not been to Tahiti?", "And we are well fed here!", "Lovely!" and "Parrot Kesha looking for treasure." The book includes the first story about the adventures of the prodigal parrot "Have you not been to Tahiti?".
