Most readers know about Alice Selezneva's adventures in space from the 1981 animated film The Secret of the Third Planet. Three years later, its main character appeared in the movie "The Guest from the Future". This character, along with the surrounding characters, was invented by orientalist Igor Vsevolodovich Mozheiko, who signed most of his fantasy works with the pseudonym Kir Bulychev. By the end of the 20th century, Mozheiko had become one of the most popular fantasy writers in our country. In 1962, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Institute of Oriental Studies, where he began working as a researcher. At the same time, the life of science fiction writer Bulychev began, who turned out to be incredibly prolific. From under his pen came hundreds of stories, novels and novels. And there were also translations of foreign fiction - more than two dozen authors. Released in the early XXI century. collection of works by Kir Bulychev amounted to 18 volumes! In them, an important place is occupied and the cycle devoted to the adventures of Alice, the first stories about her, which are considered the most famous among other works by Bulychev, and are given in this edition.
