Gilded Brass Bones. A treacherous bronze vanity
Private detective Garrett has solved many mysterious crimes in the city of Tanphere, the capital of the kingdom of Carenta, where, besides humans, there are elves, dwarves, goblins, vampires, sorcerers, and so on and so forth. And he wants to settle down, to live a serene life, but it does not seem that fate wanted it. In the novel "Gilded Brass Bones" before the former storm of paranormal criminality faces a choice: to find the villains who tried to kidnap his favorite woman and attacked his best friend, or to leave it to the police. Maybe he'd prefer the second option, but the case doesn't look easy to solve at all. And what about the fact that the head of the Tanfer Mafia, Belinda Contague, has already launched a parallel investigation? In the novel "Insidious Bronze Vanity" Garrett is preparing to marry a rich beauty endowed with magical powers. But as a dowry to his beloved, he is to receive her family: an acrimonious underage daughter, a strange father, and a monstrous grandmother, the Shadow Thrower known throughout Tanfer. And that means, against his will, Garrett must enter the Tournament of Swords, where mages battle it out-until only one survives.
