"The Report on the Activities of the Siberian Flotilla", written by its last commander, Rear Admiral G.K. Stark and published in this edition, is a valuable historical source containing a significant amount of unique information not only on the history of the Siberian Flotilla in 1920-1924, but also on the events of the Civil War in the Far East in this period in general, as well as on the Far Eastern Exodus of 1922-1923, for the 100th anniversary of which this book was being prepared. The publication of the "Report on the Activities of the Siberian Flotilla" is supplemented by a biographical essay on G.K. Stark, written using archival materials, including those previously not introduced into scientific circulation, as well as memoirs of other participants in the events, articles covering little-known aspects of the Far Eastern Exodus and lists of ranks of the Siberian Flotilla.
