One hundred kaidans. Several mysterious murders. One terrible curse.

For ten years, detective Oda Nobutaka has been trying to solve the mysterious death of his cousin, whose insides suddenly turned into liquid. Before his death, the cousin gave Nobutaka a stub of a blue candle - so the investigator takes on all cases in which blue wax appears.

When the keeper of a similar candle dies in a fire, the detective gets a new lead. During the investigation, he encounters an ancient curse: hundreds of years ago, four samurai recited kaidans on days of remembrance of the dead, which brought trouble to their descendants ... And now a whole series of terrible deaths follows them.
