The new monograph by A. A. Zdanovich is a continuation of a series of monographs on the activities of the Soviet military counterintelligence agencies, prepared and published in the period from 2021 to 2024.
The book presents the activities of the Soviet state security agencies in liberating the peoples of Europe from the "brown plague" and defeating Nazi Germany. One of the conditions for the successful activities of our troops was the suppression of the activity of the special services of Germany and its satellites, minimizing the damage from sabotage and subversive actions on their part, attempts to undermine the moral and political state of the Red Army units and formations. This is what the military counterintelligence agencies were doing, relying on the support of the command and army political bodies.
The monograph is based on archival sources, including recently declassified documents of the Central Archive of the FSB of Russia and its territorial divisions.
The book will be of interest to specialists in the history of special services, as well as to a wide reader interested in the history of the Great Patriotic War.
