Obolensky Vladimir Andreevich, Prince (1869-1950) - public and political figure, one of the brightest representatives of the Cadets Party, joined the "Union of Liberation". He occupied a prominent position in the Constitutional Democratic Party, was elected a deputy of the 1st State Duma from the Taurida province. This edition publishes for the first time the memoirs of Obolensky, written in 1937 for the Russian Historical Archive in Prague, and now stored in the State Archive of the Russian Federation. In his memoirs, the prince cites the most interesting details from the life of socialist circles, political emigration at the beginning of the 1th century, the Zemstvo, the Cadet Party, the XNUMXst State Duma, the White movement.
