Nine-year-old Tiffany Bolen has never liked fairy tales. Or rather, she didn't trust them. Why is the prince always called Prince Charming, but the princess is silly and faints at every turn? Why was it the way it was and not the other way around? It seemed to Tiffany that fairy tales just wanted to be believed, so they made people's heads spin. But one day, on a lovely summer day, the girl meets a fairy-tale monster on the riverbank. It exists and is definitely going to eat someone. And soon it turns out: this monster is not the only one... Well, Tiffany has just decided to become a witch. So it's up to her to deal with these things. After all, a witch doesn't have to be old and evil!
