This story is about the summer vacation of a large friendly family, parents and three children, from Yekaterinburg. After two days spent in Arkaim, the oldest Indo-European settlement in Russia and a fashionable place of pilgrimage for lovers of all kinds of spiritual practices, the father takes the family to his homeland, to the foothills of the Altai Mountains. And there, in an Altai village, unexpected things happen to the children: the boredom that had been pursuing them in the city disappears, everyone finds something to their liking, and all three of them fulfill their most cherished wishes. The youngest brother finds a real friend, the eldest meets his first love, and his sister, thirteen-year-old Dina, begins to realize that there are things in life more important than her "glamorous frocks" like fashionable afghani pants and laser peeling - it is real help to specific people and other God's creatures.
For middle and high school age.
