The story "Favorite Street" is the second part of the dilogy (the first part is called "Family Happiness") by the famous writer, journalist and teacher Frida Vigdorova (1915-1965). The action of the story takes place from September 1, 1944 to June 1954. Its heroes have changed - the experience of war, separation, loss made them more mature, more thoughtful, at the same time kinder and firmer. Through the eyes of the main characters - nurse Sasha, who, of course, does not pass by the infamous "doctors' plot", and a serious, honest journalist Polivanov - we see what is happening not only in the family, but also in the country: in the hospital, at school, in the newspaper, in the village. Like "Family Happiness", "Favorite Street" is a story about decent people, about a difficult life and about human relationships. For senior school age.
