Henry Kissinger (1923-2023) was an American statesman, diplomat, and international policy expert who served as the American President's National Security Advisor from 1969 to 1975 and as U.S. Secretary of State from 1973 to 1977. Winner of the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize, Kissinger was one of the world's best-known political scientists.
What is leadership in general and what qualities should a leader in politics possess?
It is especially interesting when such questions are answered by a respected statesman and an undisputed leader himself - Dr. Henry Kissinger.
In his latest book, he writes about six political leaders - Konrad Adenauer, Charles de Gaulle, Richard Nixon, Anwar Sadat, Lee Kuan Yew and Margaret Thatcher.
Henry Kissinger knew them personally and watched over the years as their actions changed the course of history.
