Billie Letelier got her unusual name in honor of the singer who, according to family legend, had the most beautiful voice in the world. Since childhood, she has been trying to understand what she has in common with the mysterious Billie Pritty. Perhaps a love of music? After all, nothing touches her heart as much as the singing of the gardener in the city park, the sounds of the piano from the apartment below and her favorite songs in her headphones.

One summer day, similar to one another, Billie meets Maxim on the stairs. Since then, their life paths constantly cross, even when they live on different continents. But it is not easy to distinguish love from friendship and not to lose oneself in the other.

This story could have been called "They loved each other. But not at the same time."

It is a poignant story about a girl who must learn the secret of her name and deal with her past in order to find her unique voice and start living her own life.
