Nazansky Vladimir Ivanovich (1877-1939) - the last assistant of the Moscow mayor, colonel of horse artillery of the Imperial Russian army. The archives that the author studied and refers to were destroyed during the occupation of Paris by the Germans during World War II. The book was not reprinted subsequently. The second volume was never published.
