Immanuel Kant is the greatest philosopher of the New Age, the founder of classical German philosophy. The range of Kant's professional interests was unusually wide. He developed a theory of the origin of the solar system, studied earthquakes, lectured on physics and geography. However, the most important works of Kant, which made a true revolution in the field of thought, are the so-called "Critiques", included in this edition: "Critique of Pure Reason" (1781), "Critique of Practical Reason" (1788) and "Critique of Judgment" (1790). These works largely determined the further development of philosophical thought and influenced the views of Schiller, Goethe, Schelling, Hegel, as well as Russian thinkers of the 19th and 20th centuries; to this day, Immanuel Kant's legacy remains an invaluable source of food for thought in the theory of knowledge, moral philosophy, and art.
