In 1946, the USSR adopted a decree "On the Teaching of Logic and Psychology in Secondary Schools". Since 1947, logic as a separate subject was included in the school program. Much attention was paid to teaching the younger generation to think, analyze, and clearly and competently express their thoughts. This edition is the original text of the textbook by the famous Soviet philosopher and logic expert Veniamin Boguslavsky, published in 1952. The textbook contains detailed information about the basic laws of logical thinking, explains what a concept, word, judgment, deductive and inductive inferences, proof and refutation are. Quotations of A. Pushkin, Aristotle, A. Herzen, I. Michurin, K. Tsiolkovsky, K. Ryleev, M. Sholokhov, M. Lermontov, D. Mendeleev, V. Belinsky, A. Suvorov are given as visual examples. Interesting exercises and tasks are offered to consolidate the passed material. The textbook will be interesting, as high school students, and all who want to exercise their brains and learn to think smoothly and flawlessly.
