The Code of the Samurai, the rules and norms of behavior of a man who has embarked on the Way of the Warrior - Bushido - have their roots deep in antiquity. Samurai philosophy was formed both under the influence of rational factors - historical, geographical, social, and under the influence of the spiritual foundations of Japanese society - Buddhism, Shintoism, Zen. All this was reflected in the works of the great warriors Yamamoto Tsunetomo (1659-1719) and Miyamoto Musashi (1584-1645). "Hagakure" ("Hidden in the foliage"), "The Book of Five Rings", works of other prominent generals make up the Code of the Samurai - a set of rules and norms of behavior, which were followed by many generations of Japanese warriors.
