After a conflict with her superiors, young art teacher Mok Hae-won returns from bustling Seoul to the village where she spent several years in high school and where her aunt lives, and tries to rethink her life. After the bright and busy city, the snowy streets seem quiet and cozy, and life seems measured and serene. In an effort to find a new self, the girl tries to renovate a guest house owned by a relative, but it seems beyond repair. During one of her walks, Haewon stumbles upon a bookstore. It turns out to be run by Lim Eunseop, her neighbor and classmate who went to the same school as her and with whom she occasionally exchanged a few words. As they try to find their true selves, find their way, and heal their wounds, Hae-won and Eun-seop become friends... Or maybe not just friends?
