The textbook "History of the Middle Ages" (E.A. Kosminsky, Moscow, 1941) is intended for students in grades 6-7 of secondary schools. The publication covers the historical period from the fall of the Western Roman Empire in the 5th century to the bourgeois revolution in England and the emergence of capitalism in Europe in the 16th and 16th centuries. The textbook consists of four sections, each containing chapters describing the main historical events of the early and late Middle Ages, as well as the emergence of capitalist society in Europe and Asia.

Students will learn about the political, cultural, social, and economic life of various countries, as well as the influence of the church and the Great Geographical Discoveries on the socio-economic system. The publication is illustrated with engravings and paintings and includes seven color inset maps.
