More than a hundred years separate us from the sad events of the execution of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II, his family and loved ones. A year before, the emperor had been forcibly removed from power, as a result of which the monarchy as a form of state structure in Russia ceased to exist. The events of February-March 1917 were and are addressed by both professional historians and people who are not indifferent to the fate of Russia. Although a significant number of studies have been written on this topic, much of what happened during the period from February 28 to March 2, 1917, has not yet been reliably established. This work does not pretend to be a full-fledged historical study; it is rather a supplement to those works that have already been written on the subject of the removal of the last Russian emperor from power.
