This work is written by an expert in the field of computer modeling and methods of numerical analysis of mathematical models. The author begins with a detailed account of St. Basil's Church as a symbolic Heavenly Jerusalem in the sacral topography of medieval Moscow, and then proceeds to the narrative of historical personalities of Ivan the Terrible's epoch. Comparing various sources (first of all, turning to the Chronicle of the Face), the researcher literally reconstructs some periods of that time day by day and shares her vision of the development of events and the role of the tsar's cronies. Often she polemizes with historians, explaining but not imposing her position on the reader. Marina Olegovna (October 7, 1959 - April 25, 2020) left this world at the age of 60 and, unfortunately, did not have time to complete her research. The last thing she considered was Andrei Kurbsky's flight to Lithuania in 1564.
