The two-volume monograph by V. I. Goldin presents a comprehensive analysis of the historiography of the Civil War in Russia (1917-1922) over the century that has passed since its end. The processes of studying the war in domestic and foreign historiography, in émigré literature are characterized.
The subject of the author's research is also the military, political, socio-economic and cultural history of the Russian Civil War, including its regional dimension, international intervention and foreign policy actions of the opposing sides.
