"Woe from Wit" - a masterpiece of Russian literature, a work, stripped to quotes and winged phrases almost from the first to the last word. "I would collect all the books and burn them", "carriage to me, carriage", "to the village, to my aunt, in the middle of nowhere, in Saratov", "she to him - and he to me"... We use phrases from "Woe from Wit" so often that we do not even realize that they are quotations. Isn't that why Griboyedov's bitter, acrimonious and brilliant comedy is still relevant and to this day does not come off the best theater stages of our country?...?
