In the first story, Spiru and Fantasio, recently returned from a long expedition, receive an invitation to the "Discovering the World" conference, not as participants, but as spectators. It turns out that while the friends were studying the lives of mountain gorillas on the slopes of Kilimakali, Fantasio's colleague at the magazine "Komarik," Seccotin, was also busy. For several months, their film crew wandered the wilds of the Palumbine rainforest in the hope of spotting at least one marsupilami. Finally, luck smiled upon them, and how! They witnessed the meeting of a remarkable couple of this rare species and were able to capture the touching story of their relationship and the birth of three wonderful marsupilami babies! Seccotine's documentary revealed many of the Marsupilami's secrets, explaining their phenomenal abilities and unique survival techniques, such as their ability to tie complex knots, build an intricate nest with defense mechanisms against enemies, and a special diet based on freshly caught piranha.
In the second story, "Gangster Fair," Spirou masters judo, uncovers a cunning plot by two rival kidnapping gangs, and rescues a billionaire's young grandson from his captors.
