Andy Warhol's Philosophy

Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was an iconic American artist, director, producer, publisher, and one of the founders of Pop Art. In his autobiographical Philosophy, he shares his thoughts on fame, relationships, money, sex, food, fashion, work, time, New York City, and what it means to be modern. Unlike other artists' books, Warhol's manifesto is a literary work in which reflections on art are interspersed with memories of childhood, and dialogues with the fictional B are full-fledged first-person narratives. All of this makes "Philosophy" another great pop work by an artist, created this time with words rather than paint.
