Boys don't keep a diary. Or do they?
Greg Heffley is a high school student, and his life is not easy. He is called to the board on the very day when he... well, didn't finish something. And during breaks and after school, he is surrounded by tall, scary, angry seniors. Girls giggle at him and notice even the tiny pimple that has popped up behind his ear. No one understands how hard Greg's life is: neither his parents, nor his close friends. When Greg's friend Rowley suddenly becomes popular, Greg tries to take advantage of his popularity and benefit from it.
However, Greg, without wanting to, causes a chain of events with his actions, because of which the boys' friendship will have to be tested to the limit.
