Plato of Athens was an ancient Greek idealist philosopher, student of Socrates, and teacher of Aristotle. It is with Plato that philosophy is formed as a system of knowledge.

"The Apologia of Socrates" is Plato's first surviving text, written shortly after Socrates' trial and his only work not written in the form of a dialog. So why did the Athenian state kill Socrates?
Socrates, about whom the Pythia of Delphi had said that there were no men wiser than he.
Socrates, who went down in history with his "I know that I know nothing."
Socrates, who ended his speech in court with the words, "But it is time for me to go, for me to die, for you to live, and which of these is best is unknown to no one but God."
All other works of Plato have the form of dialogues, in which the concepts of duty and beauty, knowledge and ignorance, truth and falsehood, good and evil are clarified by the method of questions and answers.
The collection includes the dialogues "Euthyphron", "Kriton", "Phaedon", dedicated to the last days of Socrates, as well as "The Feast" and "Phaedrus".
