Literacy training requires a systematic approach. Children need to learn to recognize letters, form them into words and sentences, and write them on paper. Only a well-designed and time-tested resource—this primer—will help with this. Sounds and letters are arranged systematically: children will first master easier combinations and only then move on to more complex ones. Only after becoming familiar with syllables will they begin to read words, then phrases and complete sentences. At the same time, they will learn printed and calligraphic fonts and understand how to correctly represent letters. Large illustrations of objects and scenes on familiar themes (family, games, nature) will help children absorb the material and reinforce their knowledge. This resource is intended for preschool teachers and parents who teach children independently.

This publication corresponds to the ABC book by A.I. Voskresenskaya, 1952, produced with such-and-such quality (binding, endpapers, 120g white offset paper, heat-sealed packaging).

This edition is fully color. A spelling correction was made after the reform. In this edition, the word "acorn" is spelled with an Ё, unlike in the 1952 edition of the primer.
