A navigator on growing up with the intelligence that was sorely lacking in childhood. What do we wish we had known as children? What do we wish our children knew? What is so important to discuss, but seems a little early at 6 and maybe late at 12, during the separation process. Outside the school program, and sometimes even at home, many questions that shape a child's personality remain: who am I, what is my value, what is my calling, do I have goals and how to set them. What are emotions and how to cope with them, how to communicate, be friends, love, how to speak and listen so as to be heard. Nor do they teach important life skills at school: how to be organized, make a report, come up with something new, work in a team, manage a personal budget; how to understand your body and stay healthy. We've included answers to these and many other questions in an infographic book for tweens ages 9 and up. Each spread introduces a child to an area of soft skills in an engaging visual form (almost comic book, but deeper) and helps them recognize and start working on their own. Soft skills are formed throughout life, but are especially active in childhood, during the period when social connections are formed.
