Lavr Kornilov is a prominent Russian commander, military attache, who is completely devoted to the Fatherland. Hero of the Russo-Japanese War, and in the First World War - the first general who escaped from captivity. Before the Revolution of 1917, Kornilov participated in reconnaissance, and later he was appointed commander of the troops of the Petrograd Military District.
This book introduces the philosophy of the “Kornilov movement”, the stages of the formation of the Volunteer Army and the famous 1st Kuban campaign, known as the “Ice”.
