Priest Konstantin Korepanov's book is based on a series of lectures, "Clive Staples Lewis: The Grace of a Fairytale Parable," recorded specifically for Soyuz Television. A total of 99 lectures were broadcast in 2022-2023. In his lectures, the author reveals to his listeners, and now to his readers, the Christian meanings of The Chronicles of Narnia. The book consists of a preface and seven chapters, each corresponding to one of the books in the Chronicles of Narnia series.

Father Konstantin invites readers to take a fresh look at Lewis's work, to walk with him through the pages of his works, and to share both Lewis's own experience and the experience Christ granted him. For where would the writer himself have obtained this experience if God had not revealed it to him?

The illustrations for the book were specially created by graphic artist Evgenia Sterligova, the most renowned illustrator of Vladislav Krapivin's books.
