White Snow, Black Crows (2010) is the first novel by Chinese writer Chi Zijian (born 1964), published in Russian.
In the rich history and culture of the text, the author recreates the international life of Harbin during the plague of 1910-1911, resurrects the fate of the Chinese, Russians and Japanese who died in those terrible days, shows the strengths and weaknesses of man in the face of mortal danger. The novel is a vivid example of modern Chinese literature and was awarded the National Chinese Prize “Folk Literature” (2010).
