Alexander Kuleshov's book "Dead End" was first published in the USSR in 1983. This novel, dedicated to the rise of the Red Army Faction (RAF) in West Germany, became one of the best books about the radical leftist underground of the time. Although the author is largely critical of some aspects of it, he clearly sympathized with the struggle of the Soviet Union's Western friends. For many years, various enemies of the Soviet regime attempted to create a myth about the supposed "anti-Soviet" nature of the RAF and the Soviet authorities' "hatred" of this organization. This book is a refutation of this lie.
