Alice in Wonderland and Looking-Glass.

A sunny day, and the bank of a river. A White Rabbit running by. Bored Alice wondered where he was in such a hurry. What if she followed him? Where could he lead her? One hot summer day on the Thames a remarkable event took place. During a boat trip, the English mathematician Lewis Carroll (a pseudonym for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) came up with a story about a little girl named Alice. And a few years later, in 1865, it was published and became one of the most famous fairy tales in the whole world. The bright and unusual illustrations by Alexander Shakhgeldyan perfectly convey the atmosphere of originality and curiosity of "Alice" - one of the best examples of the genre of literary nonsense.
