Lydia Charskaya is a Russian writer, who in the early 20th century was extremely popular with young readers, who even put her on a par with N. V. Gogol and A. S. Pushkin. Children loved the work of Lydia Charskaya, who wrote for them more than 100 novels, stories and fairy tales. One of her most famous works is the story "Lizochkino happiness". This is an unusually fascinating story about the fate of ten-year-old Lisa Okoltseva, by the will of fate turned out to be in the children's theater - but not a spectator, and a real actress. Being very young, Lisa had to face cruelty, callousness and betrayal of the most seemingly close people, but still the girl was not embittered, she always believed that people have much more kindness, sincerity, compassion, mercy and, of course, love.
