English writer, critic, publicist and journalist George Orwell entered the history of literature primarily through his latest novel "1984", which became one of the major anti-utopian books of the twentieth century. The society of the future depicted by the author is based on the total unfreedom of the individual, propaganda and open violence - which, according to the author's bitter and threatening prediction, won in the fictional state of Oceania by 1984. This collection also includes the famous satirical story "Animal Farm", in which the animals, expelled from the farm owner, trying to create a just society under the laws of universal equality. However, it turns out to be not so easy, for, as the famous commandment of the Cattle Yard states: "All animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others.
