The world burned in the flames of the Great Fall. Animals and humans turned into bloodthirsty creatures. Every year, the fire in the Ruined Citadel, where legend says the Twelfth Cursed lurks, promising the end of all living things, shines brighter and brighter.
Rekha, the young elf of the wastelands, is not interested in the deeds of bygone days or the stories of the old men of the village. He hunts with his pack, unaware that elves once did not drink blood.
After the storm, Rehi is left all alone. Desperate, he goes to the Ruined Citadel in search of answers. But he has no idea what forces have drawn him into their dangerous game.
The world is incomprehensible and vast. Only hunger is understandable and endless.
