From October 2012 in the vicinity of Spanish Cadiz, six of our contemporaries - five Russian vacationers and one local Spanish policeman - find themselves in ancient Spain shortly after the end of the Second Punic War, no longer Carthaginian but not quite Roman - 197 BC. Having started to grow into the society of chrono-natives as ordinary hired soldiers in the service of the local clan of oligarchs in Cordubas and Gades, the fellows take part both in inter-clan squabbles and in the war of the Spanish Iberians, who rebelled against Roman rule.
And all would be well, if it were not for the raids of the Numidians and worry about the fate of their descendants already. After half a century, Carthage is doomed. And in the next, 195 BC, popadantsy persuade the employer to create his pocket state in Spain on the lands not yet conquered by Rome. In Cuba, too, everything is very complicated. In addition to the local Indians, the most common savages, there is an unknown Phoenician colony, with which their employer conducts trade affairs, and mysterious Indian priests, who consider themselves heirs to an immemorially ancient civilization. And having returned from the ocean, have to participate as Roman allies in the reflection of the raid of the Lusitanians. And this is only the beginning of their planned operation ...
