The set includes 40 double-sided cards with stereo pictures of different levels of difficulty and types, 2 cards with answers, 1 card with eye exercises and an instruction card. It is designed and developed with the support of leading ophthalmologists specifically for preventive vision support and restoration.
Stereo pictures (stereograms) are pictures with a 3D effect. Looking at them helps the muscles of the eye to relax and has a beneficial effect on improving and maintaining visual acuity. Ophthalmologists recommend to look at stereograms starting from 6-7 years old, when stereoscopic (binocular) vision is already formed at the necessary level. There are children who can consider stereograms earlier than this age. What is the peculiarity of the set:
- Each card is a stereogram, a picture with a 3D effect.
- Thanks to the enlarged format of the cards, it is convenient to study with them.
- The subject of cards in the set is very diverse: animals, fairy-tale characters, sights, story pictures, etc., so it will be interesting for both children of different ages and adults to study with them.
3 ways to learn to watch stereo pictures:
1. Place a pencil at a distance of 5-7 cm. in front of the picture, focus your eyes on the very tip and smoothly move it back and forth. Thanks to this, the picture will begin to blur and you will see a three-dimensional image.
2. The stereo picture is placed at a distance of 20 cm. from the face. As slowly as possible bring it closer so that the eye could not focus on one thing and the image blurred. Having approached closely, without taking your eyes off the picture, you should slowly and smoothly move away, keeping the image unfocused.
3. Place the stereo picture at a distance of 10 cm. from the face. Focus your eyes on the picture and then relax your eye muscles as if looking through the stereogram.
It is recommended to use the cards after prolonged monotonous work that requires eye strain: reading, working on the computer and gadgets, watching TV, etc.
