Copernicus' Producer. The true story of the revolution in astronomy

For you, the fact of the Earth's rotation around its axis and around the sun is exactly a fact, not a hypothesis, fantasy or delusion. But don't think that as soon as Nicolaus Copernicus talked about it, people immediately understood the structure of the solar system. It took about 150 years for a new scientific hypothesis to take hold in the minds of scientists, and another 150 years for it to appear in school textbooks. It's a long story. And it would never have begun if one spring day an uninvited guest had not knocked on Copernicus's door. His name cannot be found in any textbook, but it was thanks to him that the revolutionary book "On the Rotations of the Heavenly Spheres" appeared with an exposition of the heliocentric theory, which the author did not intend to publish at all. Why did Copernicus flatly refused to publish his work? How did the manuscript get to the mysterious stranger who not only edited and published it, but was also the first to promote the heliocentric doctrine in the scientific community? Why did few people believe him? This man could well be called Copernicus' producer. If it had not been for Georg Joachim Reticus, we would never have known about the great astronomer and his theory.
