This is not quite an ordinary problem book - it contains about eight hundred original problems in physics and about fifty - strangely enough, in mathematics. Of the problem books, this book is closest to "Pyotr Leonidovich Kapitsa's Problems" and Jirl Walker's "Physical Fireworks". The author's goal is to show that physics is not only one of the foundations of progress, but that it accompanies man at every step in his daily life. Tasks of this style are found at serious Olympiads and in international studies of scientific knowledge (PISA, TIMSS). The tasks are varied in difficulty; a knowledge of the school course is usually enough to start analyzing, but serious deepening will require more. Some of the problems have been suggested to friends and colleagues or have arisen in the course of lessons with students. The book is intended for anyone interested in physics and its application to real-world problems, including schoolchildren, students, and teachers. For the problems, in most cases there are instructions on the paths leading to the solution, in some cases they are divided into several steps, like the classic book by P. V. Makovetsky "Look at the Root!" and the original in design and very informative book by I. P. Ivanov "How Spaghetti Breaks, and Other Problems in Physics". However, such instructions are not given everywhere, so many tasks can be used at exams and Olympiads. Tasks that can be used for computer modeling are noted. Some types of tasks are considered in the appendix, some of which have been applied and tested in practice by the author. Tasks of these types can be formulated not only in physics, but also in many other sciences in which the concept of "task" exists at all.
