Nina Shatskaya-Filatova (1940-2021) was an honored artist of Russia, who played many roles in theater and cinema. With Yuri Lyubimov she played in the plays "The Good Man from Sezuan", "Comrade, Believe", "The Master and Margarita", "Tartuffe" and others. In films she is known for her roles in "Welcome, or No Strangers Allowed", "An Extraordinary Assignment", "A Visit to the Minotaur" ... This book was made up of two memoirs of the actress - "Sorry ... farewell, Taganka!" and "Biography of Love". Theater on Taganka became for Nina Shatskaya a second home, determined her creative destiny, gave wonderful colleagues and friends. Among them are Vladimir Vysotsky, Alla Demidova, Veniamin Smekhov, Felix Antipov... She left beautiful pages of memories about her husband, with whom she started working here together, Valery Zolotukhin. In this theater met with a talented artist Leonid Filatov - he was destined to become her second husband. They were linked not only passionate love, but also kinship of souls, a common interest in theater, cinema, literature. And she spoke fascinatingly and in detail about the brilliant actor, poet, author of the beloved fairy tale "About Fedot the Streltsy...", as well as about the almost twenty-year life of the Theater, tickets to which were bought in advance, and all performances were always full house.
