Karlchen and the whole company
One morning Carlchen went to feed the chicken. But the baby was nowhere to be found. He wonders where the fidgety chicken has gone. Gradually all of Carlchen's friends join the search: cousin Katie, Monica and her dog Bello, neighbor Tony, and twins Friedrich and Wilhelm. Together they search for the chicken at home, in the garden, on the street, in the city center, in the park, and in the woods.
In the end, the chicken is found in a most unexpected way. After reading this almost detective story, little readers are invited to perform tasks: to find on each spread a ladybug, dragonfly, raven, owl, squirrel, duck, grasshopper, snail, mouse, stork and frog. Some of them
come from the very first page, and some of them appear a little later. There's also a chicken to find on each spread. Yes, yes, Carlchen and his friends just did not
notice the little rascal who decided to play hide-and-seek with them, but
attentive readers are sure to find him. "Carlhen and the whole company" ̶
the first large wimmelbuch in the series of books about the bunny Carlhen. It is suitable both
for a first introduction to Carlchen, his family and friends, and for those who have already read the other books about these characters.
