The great Russian artist Kazimir Malevich is one of the key figures of the Russian avant-garde, the founder of Suprematism, art theorist, philosopher and teacher. All his life he devoted to the search and creation of a unique direction of painting, reflecting his philosophical theory, the idea of the universe and art. His concept went through several stages of development: Impressionism - Neoprimitivism - Cubofuturism - Suprematism. The last direction - Suprematism - was developed directly by Kazimir Malevich, and the most famous picture of the artist "Black Square", which is still a subject of controversy, became his pictorial manifesto. By 1920, a group of devoted students had formed around Kazimir Malevich - UNOVIS (Unovis (Establishers of New Art), who held the same artistic and philosophical views as their teacher.
The book includes articles from different years, as well as two major works by the artist - "Suprematism. The World as Unobjectivity, or Eternal Rest" and "From the Book of Unobjectivity", illustrating his philosophical and creative principles. The new art, according to Kazimir Malevich, is associated with the transition "to a new pictorial realism, objectless creativity", according to which the master should not copy nature, but create his own artistic worlds.
