"24 Words" is an anthology of multi-genre texts (essays, poems, short stories) and works by painters, sculptors, photographers, and digital artists. Each text and each work of visual art is dedicated to one word / phenomenon / concept / feeling. Heaven, Truth, Death, Earth, Hope, Support....
For the sake of this book, writers, editors and journalists, artists, curators and critics, activists, doctors and philanthropists have come together - very different people who have something in common: they are used to working very hard, creating new things every day, planning for several years ahead and believing that good eventually triumphs over evil. They reflect on how our lives have changed over the past year and search for answers to the main questions: where did we all, like Agent Cooper, enter on February 24 ("Diane, it's February 24, and I'm entering the town of Twin Peaks...") and is there a way out of this sprawling Black Lodge? How does it feel to live with the awareness of an amputated future and watch the past being denigrated? How do we not lose our minds and ourselves in a world where the old laws don't work and the new ones are absurd?
