“... All poets are dreamy friends of love,” says the author of Eugene Onegin. Love lyrics occupies in the work of A.S. Pushkin is a significant place. The first of Pushkin's poems known to us was addressed to the serf actress Natalya: the lyceum students saw her play in the home theater of Count V.V. Tolstoy in Tsarskoye Selo. In a playful tone, the young rake confessed: “So it happened to me to find out what kind of bird Cupid is.” Growing up, Pushkin not only left this lightness, frivolity of love messages, but the very shades and manifestations of love feelings in his later poems turn out to be richer and more diverse. This edition is built on the principle of a kind of "lyrical diary" of the poet - where victories and defeats, incessant drops from high love passion to a joke, and sometimes obsceneness are noted. Before us appears the enamored Pushkin. Vorontsova, Kern, Olenina, Ushakov, Goncharov… “As a poet, he considered it his duty to be in love with all the pretty women and young girls he met…” recalled M.N. Volkonskaya, also an addressee of Pushkin's lyrics, added: “In essence, he adored only his muse and poeticized everything he saw.”
