What is an e-gift card?

An electronic gift card is an analogue of a plastic gift card, but without a physical medium.

Such a card is accepted only in the online store kniga.lv.

 

What denominations are available?

There are both denominations pre-installed for convenience (10, 20, 50, 100), as well as the ability to specify your own denomination from €10.

 

The validity period of the e-gift card is not limited.

 

If the amount on the e-gift card is not enough to pay for the purchase, you can pay the missing amount with a bank card, another e-gift card and Paypal.

 

What else do you need to know?

 

   * You cannot buy a gift card with a discount.

   * A gift card can be used to pay for both goods and delivery.

   * One gift card can pay for several different purchases.

   * You can send gift cards to several recipients at once - in this case, everyone will receive their own separate card of the specified denomination.

   * It is possible to add a personal message to the recipient.

You can immediately go to the category you are interested in in the menu or use the search to find the book you need.

If you have found the item you are interested in, then by clicking on the "Add to cart" button, you put the item you have chosen into your cart and you can continue your search. Clicking the trash can icon in the main menu opens the trash pane. You can go to the shopping cart page or directly to the checkout page.

On the checkout page, you can once again check the content and cost of your order, fill in your data for order delivery and select the form of payment.

After you have filled in all the required fields on the checkout page, confirm the order by clicking the appropriate button. You will receive notifications about the order and its status by e-mail. Once payment has been received, your order will be processed and shipped.

Oh sure! You can order a book that is not in our online store at special page.

Within 5 working days after we receive the application, our managers will contact you and, if the goods are available, they will announce the cost of the book and delivery time. If something does not suit you - just refuse! Completing the application does not obligate you to anything.

For some products (not just new products), we may allow pre-orders. This means that the product is currently out of stock, but we are confident that it will arrive in stock.

After you find the edition you need, go to the product card by clicking on the title of the book (product), or on the cover.

You will be on the product page. The product page in the "Pre-order" status is distinguished by the absence of the "Buy" button. In its place is the "Pre-order" button.

Click the "Pre-Order" button and the product will be placed in your basket, after which you can proceed with the checkout procedure.

After the goods arrive at the warehouse, your order will be collected and transferred to the delivery service you selected when placing the order.

These orders usually take 2 weeks to complete.

Please note that pre-order deadlines may vary depending on the workload of publishers. Unfortunately, we cannot influence them.

Orders are shipped from Monday to Friday. Orders placed over the weekend are processed on Monday.

The order is processed within 3-5 business days after payment confirmation, after which we transfer your order to the delivery service. During discounts and in December, the order processing time may increase up to 7 working days.

Delivery times in Latvia are 2-3 business days, 4-6 business days in Lithuania and Estonia, for other EU countries - 6-12 business days from the date of transfer of the order to the courier service.

We will replace your product if it is damaged or has a hidden printing defect. A hidden defect is:

  • turned, skipped, jumbled pages;
  • incompleteness and inconsistency of block elements;
  • unprinted pages, except for those provided (“white” sheets);
  • pasting of pages and damage to text or illustrations when opened;
  • cut edge of text or illustrations on the strip (“slashed” text or illustrations);
  • incorrect insertion of the block into the cover, the block is turned upside down, a “foreign” block;

If the replacement book is not available, we will refund your money.
We refund the amount of money within 3 working days from the date of receipt of the returned book, by transferring funds to your bank account in the way you used when paying for the order.

You can return your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

We reserve the right to refuse to return the goods to the buyer if the goods were in use, damaged, not complete, lost their original appearance. For more information on return conditions, please visit special page.

Yes, of course, the Polaris customer card gives you a 10% discount on all products except for the Book of the Month.

To apply the discount, on the checkout page, click on "Have a coupon or customer card?" and in the field that opens, enter the customer's card number.

Prices for books may change due to the difference in exchange rates, the appointment or cancellation of discounts on goods. The current price of the goods is always indicated in the product card and in your basket.
