Suvorin and others lived on Nevsky Prospect. whom Dostoevsky visited, with whom he corresponded or was in other literary or everyday relations. He also spoke here at literary evenings in the Noble Assembly, participated in a seance at the apartment of A. N. Aksakov, listened to Lord Redstock's sermon, prayed in the Church of the Sign, visited the Winter and Anichkov Palaces, and so on. In the confectionery of Wolf (former Wolf and Beranger) Dostoevsky made a fateful acquaintance with M. V. Petrashevsky.
