75 years ago, a book by American journalists M. Sayers and A. Kahn was published in the Soviet Union. It described the operations of the secret war of Western countries against the USSR from 1918 to 1945. The book was immediately withdrawn from free sale and classified for many decades. The reason for what happened: the authors, on the basis of a huge amount of documentary materials, proved that in the pre-war years, the enemies of the Russian state waged an unprecedented struggle with our country. It was supposed to lead to the conquest of Russia by the West; it was attended by the recent allies of the USSR - England, France and the USA. The main stake in this struggle was placed on the anti-Soviet underground and those who opposed the policies of Stalin, who, according to the authors, was then the spokesman for the state ideology of Russia. After the collapse of the USSR, an abridged version of this book was published. For the first time, since 1947 - a complete version of the book "The Secret War against Soviet Russia", 1918-1945.
