More than a hundred years separate us from the sad events - the execution of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II, his family and loved ones. A year earlier, the emperor had been forcibly removed from power, as a result of which the monarchy as a form of government in Russia ceased to exist. The events of February-March 1917 were and are being addressed by both professional historians and people who are not indifferent to the fate of Russia. Although a considerable amount of research has been written on this subject, much of what happened between February 28 and March 2, 1917 has not yet been reliably established. This work does not claim to be a full-fledged historical study; rather, it is an addition to those works that have already been written on the topic of the removal of the last Russian emperor from power.
